Today the last few students took home their Publishing Center Bags! As stated earlier on the blog, the bag contains a Barebook, About \u00a0the Author page with dedication page on the back of it, the story, and \u00a0directions. \u00a0There are a few students that just finished their stories and they did not have time to edit and revise with me, so you will need to edit and revise with your child before typing.<\/p>\n
1.Please return the bag on Tuesday, April 12. \u00a0The barebooks should have the following items typed and pasted in it: \u00a0Title page, Dedication Page, Story, About the Author Page.<\/p>\n
2.In addition, there needs to be another copy of the story in the bag. \u00a0That copy will be submitted for the Brainstormer story. \u00a0Also return their handwritten draft.<\/p>\n
3. \u00a0Finally, please send in a box of colored pencils in the bag for your student to use on the cover and to do the illustrations.<\/p>\n
4. \u00a0The Publishing Center Books will be on display in the media center on Friday, April 15.<\/p>\n

P.S. \u00a0The science fair project should be started soon if it hasn’t been started. \u00a0 \u00a0Don’t forget to have your child do observations every 2-4 days or so. \u00a0Each observation should include a sentence about the water and nail. \u00a0Have your child be descriptive and write neatly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
