Today your child brought home a note about our classroom Artifact Museum. \u00a0The letter explains it and the artifact card that needs to be completed is on the bottom of the letter. \u00a0Please send in the artifact along with the sheet neatly completed in complete sentences by your child on Monday, March 7. \u00a0It will be fun learning about the past by sharing our family artifacts!<\/p>\n
Also your child brought home the Social Studies Unit 5 Study Guide. Please review the vocabulary and big ideas with your child. \u00a0 Sign and return on Tuesday, March 8. \u00a0It is a District test that will be completed in the computer lab.<\/p>\n
In addition a March reading calendar is attached in your child’s EveryDay Folder today. It has some fun activities. \u00a0Please continue to have your child read at least 20 minutes each day. \u00a0Continue to use the Raz Kids. \u00a0Do not have your child listen to the selections. \u00a0Have them READ a selection. \u00a0Then take the quiz on the selection. \u00a0If they do not know the answer of the question, have them click on the book. \u00a0That will allow them to go back and reread to locate the answer. \u00a0Then click on the quiz to continue taking the quiz. \u00a0The comprehension quiz practice is an important skill for your child. \u00a0Please have your child do at least one fictional story and quiz each week, and have your child do at least one informational selection and quiz each week.<\/p>\n
