Today your child is bringing home the first reading log of the year. \u00a0It is attached in the Everyday Folder. \u00a0Please monitor that your child reads at least 20 minutes each day. \u00a0Be sure it is a good fit book. \u00a0If your child misses 5 or more words on a page, it is not a good fit book. \u00a0The reading log should be filled in daily. \u00a0Please sign the reading log on Tuesday nights to verify that your child has read at home for the week. \u00a0Next Wednesday, your child will turn in this week’s log and get a new reading log.<\/p>\n
Math homework is coming home today. \u00a0It is a 2 sided sheet so be sure that both sides are completed. \u00a0It is due on Friday, but it may be turned in tomorrow if done.<\/p>\n
Keep practicing week 2 Spelling words. \u00a0To help your child prepare for the cold words, give your child additional consonant-vowel-consonant words that have short i, o, or u.<\/p>\n
