Today your child is bringing home the Week 4 spelling words attached in the everyday folder.\u00a0 Week 4 words are available on Spelling City.<\/p>\n
The math study guide is due tomorrow.\u00a0 It should be completed with 2-4 sentences on the written responses.\u00a0 Please include a parent signature.\u00a0 Today some students showed me there work on the study guide.\u00a0 Please review with your child.\u00a0 The short answer should\u00a0 explain the answer.\u00a0 Some of the words that we have been using at school to practice include:\u00a0 bigger than, less than, same, different, ones place, tens place. For example if\u00a0 comparing 41 and 37, the response may state that 37 is larger than 41.\u00a0 I know that because 4 tens is greater than 3 tens.\u00a0 Please look at #10 AND\u00a0 #15 on the study guide and have your child explain like the example.\u00a0 For number 5, also be sure the student is using words from the given word bank.\u00a0 The word bank will not be posted during the assessment.<\/p>\n
