Tomorrow we will begin the Fall NWEA testing. \u00a0Second graders take reading and math. \u00a0We will do one this Tuesday and one next Tuesday. \u00a0Please do not make appointments for those days and be sure your child is well rested. \u00a0Thanks.<\/p>\n
Today your child is bringing home the first spelling list for the week along with a letter that describes the second grade spelling. \u00a0The list will come home each Monday in the Everyday Folder. \u00a0Please do not take it out. \u00a0Tests will be each Friday.<\/p>\n
We have gym on Mondays and Thursdays so gym shoes are necessary on those days. \u00a0 On Mondays, it begins at 8:50 so it is important students arrive on time to school. Library check out will begin next Monday, so books will need to be returned on Mondays.<\/p>\n
In social studies we are studying families and communities. \u00a0Please be sure the family picture is turned in tomorrow, Sept. 12. \u00a0Thanks in advance!<\/p>\n
In Math, we will be making a scroll to practice counting. \u00a0Please send in an empty paper towel tube as soon as possible. \u00a0If you have extras, please send them in for others.<\/p>\n
Please send in beginning of the year notes and supplies. \u00a0Some students still don’t have them.<\/p>\n
