Hi!\u00a0 My name is Ms. Lisa (Bonza),<\/p>\n
I am so excited to work with you and your child.\u00a0 It\u2019s going to be a year full of fun, learning and lots of adventure and I can\u2019t wait to see what the year has in store for us.<\/p>\n
I moved to Dearborn from Pinckney, Michigan, 16 years ago when I got married.\u00a0 My husband and I have three boys that attend Dearborn Public Schools.\u00a0 My youngest, goes to Elementary school, my middle son goes to junior high school and my oldest attends high school. Although all of their sports and activities take up most of my free time, I always find time to foster puppies from the Taylor Animal Shelter.<\/p>\n
I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor\u2019s of science degree in early childhood education.\u00a0 This will be my seventh year teaching in the Dearborn Public Schools early childhood program.\u00a0 I\u2019m so excited to teach your child and to watch them grow and learn.<\/p>\n
We follow the Dearborn Public school calendar so please go to the Dearborn Public Schools website and print off a calendar so you know the days off.\u00a0 I will also post them on my blog and put them in the weekly newsletter.\u00a0 The only difference is that our first day of school will be Wednesday, September 7th<\/sup> and our last day of school will be Thursday, June 15th<\/sup>.\u00a0 We have no half days or late start days, our schedule is from 8:00am to 12:00 noon, every day.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0*Our orientation will be held on Tuesday, September 6th<\/sup> from 6:00pm to 6:30pm at Howard Elementary, room 4.<\/strong>\u00a0 I\u2019m looking forward to meeting all of you in person.\u00a0 Please bring the entire contents of your registration packet to the orientation.\u00a0 All paperwork must be completed and turned in, in order for your child to attend.<\/p>\n Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.\u00a0 It is important to keep communication open between us.\u00a0 I look forward to a great year together.<\/p>\n bonzal@dearbornschools.org<\/a><\/p>\n (313) 827-6362\u2014classroom number<\/p>\n My blog is https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/bonzal\/<\/p>\n <\/p>\n First Day Reminders<\/strong><\/p>\n Our first day of school will be Wednesday, September 7th<\/sup>.<\/strong><\/p>\n *Please have your child use the restroom before coming to school each day; less time in the school\u2019s bathroom is more time learning in the classroom.<\/p>\n *Please have your child bring a 2 pocket folder with their name on it.\u00a0 This will be used as a homework folder as well as communication tool between you and me.
