Last week we learned a new letter \u201cIi\u201d and we talked about our senses and how we use them during the holidays.<\/p>\n
This week we will learn a new letter \u201cJj\u201d, the number 4 and the color red.\u00a0 We will also start decorating our classroom and talk about holiday celebrations.<\/p>\n
The tree that is being sent home is your December homework.\u00a0 Please decorate it as a family with whatever you have at home.\u00a0 And return the tree back to school so your child can talk about it.<\/p>\n
Our holiday party will be on Friday, December 22nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 We will have a book exchange, pajama day and decorate cookies.<\/p>\n BOOK EXCHANGE\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The book should be a book that both boys and girls would like to receive.\u00a0 No more than $5.00.\u00a0 Please wrap the book and put on the tag:\u00a0 To:\u00a0 My friend\u00a0 From:\u00a0 (Your child\u2019s name).\u00a0 If your child does not bring in a book, they will not come home with a book.<\/p>\n PAJAMA DAY\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Your child can wear their pajamas to school on Friday, December 22nd.\u00a0 If your child would like to wear their slippers, please have them bring shoes for going outside.<\/p>\n COOKIE DECORATING\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We will be decorating cookies for our snack.\u00a0 There will be a sign \u2013 up sheet next week.<\/p>\n There is no school for two weeks because of the holiday, Saturday, December 21st<\/sup> to Sunday, January 7th<\/sup>.\u00a0 We will see everyone back refreshed and relaxed on Monday, January 8th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n We finally have a classroom telephone number: (313) 827 \u2013 7630!<\/p>\n If you have any questions, please feel free to put a note in your child\u2019s folder or email me: bonzal@dearbornschools.org<\/a> or now you can call!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Last week we learned a new letter \u201cIi\u201d and we talked about our senses and how we use them during the holidays.
