Dear Parents,<\/p>\n

Last week we learned a new letter \u201cZz\u201d and continued with the letter \u201c9\u201d.\u00a0 We also talked about families and how they are alike and different.<\/p>\n

This week we will reviewing our letters and continue with the number \u201c9\u201d. We will also talk about transportation.<\/p>\n

Availability \u00a0for preschool for 2017-2018 school year is starting to fill up (Thursdays are almost full), so if you would like your child to join us next year, please sign up to save your spot.<\/p>\n

This year, Howard Preschool will celebrate<\/p>\n

another great year of learning by counting down<\/p>\n

the last 26 days of the school year with 26<\/p>\n

special activities!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Please read through the activities and their descriptions as some days<\/p>\n

have your child wearing certain clothing and\/or bringing items to class.<\/p>\n

Participation is not required but we hope that everyone will join in this<\/p>\n

celebration in some way over the next couple of weeks.\u00a0 If you have any<\/p>\n

May 15\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Extra Recess Day\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We will have one extra recess today. (Weather permitting)<\/p>\n

May 16\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Flag Day \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Let\u2019s support our troops and dress in RED, WHITE and BLUE.<\/p>\n

May 17\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Game Day\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We will play a game outside. (Weather permitting)<\/p>\n

May 18\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Hot Wheel Day\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We will paint with some cars!<\/p>\n

May 19\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ice Cream Day\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We\u2019ll enjoy an ice cream treat!<\/p>\n

May 24\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Lightning Bug Day\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We will make ajar filled with lightning bugs!<\/p>\n

May 25\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mismatch Day\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All students will wear clothes that don\u2019t match.<\/p>\n

There will be no school Friday, May 26th<\/sup><\/strong> and Monday May 29th<\/sup>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, June 14<\/strong>, we will be having a short (15 minutes) \u201cgraduation\u201d for the preschoolers. The children will receive their diplomas.\u00a0 You are invited!\u00a0 It will be in the gym from 9:15 to 9:30am and there will be no chairs.\u00a0 If your child does not attend that day, you may bring them in and stay with them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
