Last week we learned a new letter \u201cQq\u201d and reviewed the number \u201c6\u201d.\u00a0 We learned about the presidents; Lincoln and Washington.<\/p>\n
This week we will learn a new letter \u201cRr\u201d and a new number \u201c7\u201d.\u00a0 We will talk about the Mardi Gras, the Chinese New Year and celebrate Dr. Seuss\u2019 birthday.<\/p>\n
March is Reading month so the children will be able to bring in their favorite book to share with the class.\u00a0 Please put your child\u2019s name in their book.\u00a0 The children will bring their book home the same day they share it.<\/p>\n

Monday March 6<\/strong>, Dan<\/p>\n Tuesday March 7<\/strong>, Addison<\/p>\n Wednesday March 8<\/strong>, Julia B<\/p>\n Thursday March 9<\/strong>, Milan<\/p>\n Friday March 10<\/strong>, Ayana<\/p>\n Week of March 6 \u2013 10<\/strong> will be Once Upon a Time, so the children can wear their princess, pirate, etc. costumes throughout the week.<\/p>\n Wednesday, March 15<\/strong> there will be no school.\u00a0 We will be holding conferences that day.\u00a0 There will be sign-up sheet for the conferences.\u00a0 They will last about 15 minutes, starting at 8:00am.<\/p>\n Friday, March 17<\/strong> is St Patrick\u2019s Day.\u00a0 There will be a sign-<\/p>\n up sheet for snack.\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget to wear green!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Welcome back!
