{"id":607,"date":"2020-04-15T00:03:16","date_gmt":"2020-04-15T04:03:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/lillyl\/?p=607"},"modified":"2020-04-15T00:06:56","modified_gmt":"2020-04-15T04:06:56","slug":"writing-wednesday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/lillyl\/2020\/04\/15\/writing-wednesday\/","title":{"rendered":"Writing Wednesday"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I found a couple of fun writing activities that would allow our kids to journal the current &#8220;<em>stay home, stay safe<\/em>&#8221; situation.  The first is <strong><em>My 2020 Covid-19 Time Capsule<\/em><\/strong>.  It is a great way to look back on all the favorites during the time, how you felt, what you learned, ways you stayed connected with the community, etc.  The other activity is more of a diary approach, <strong><em>My Lockdown Diary.<\/em><\/strong>  It includes movie night, view from your window, activities you do so you don&#8217;t get bored, something you leaned about during the lockdown, what you are looking forward to when this is over, etc.  Both activities could be completed as a whole or just some of the pages.  It is a good way to remember this historical pandemic and to learn from it.
