I am asking to have\u00a0every student complete another\u00a0child screener.<\/p>\n

Please complete it by February 10th<\/strong> with your child.<\/p>\n

Ages and Stages Developmental Screening Parent Letter\/Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dearborn Public Schools GSRP is taking part in a county wide project called Help Me Grow, through Wayne County.<\/p>\n

This project focuses on making sure your child is on track and identifying areas where additional support may be needed.\u00a0\u00a0This is an online tool that only takes about 10 minutes to complete.<\/p>\n

Information gathered from your answers will be used by your child\u2019s teacher to support their growth and learning.<\/p>\n

Your child\u2019s specific information will not be made available to the general public.\u00a0\u00a0Your personal<\/p>\n

information (email, address) will not be used for any other purpose.<\/p>\n

In order to complete the screening, go to<\/p>\n

  1. First enter in your child\u2019s birthdate (month, day, and year).<\/li>\n
  2. Next, enter in the number of months your child was premature.\u00a0\u00a0If none, enter \u201c0\u201d (there must be a number in this area to continue).<\/li>\n
  3. On the next screen, in step 1, you will pull up the screening tool on a PDF<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    document.\u00a0\u00a0You can (a) review the questions on the screen and decide whether<\/p>\n

    you are able to do the screening without further work with your child OR (b) print<\/p>\n

    the questions and work with your child on those answers you are unsure of.<\/p>\n

    1. Once you are sure of the answers, return to that screen and click on step 3.<\/li>\n
    2. Next you will need to answer the demographic information for your child.<\/li>\n
    3. Finally you will complete the screening questions on the screen.\u00a0\u00a0When done,<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      submit the screen for review.<\/p>\n

      NOTE: you are not able to save and come back to your responses-you will need<\/strong><\/p>\n
