We will be reading a short story, Scout&#8217;s Honor, to see how an author develops characterization. This week&#8217;s homework for the reading and writing challenge is a little different. \u00a0Everyone will be a good-fit fiction book and be working on characterization. The students have a graphic organizer to complete to find evidence in their good-fit book of character traits. From this they will be constructing an essay next week. It is highly important that they complete it and have it in class next Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>I have also noticed that many students Reading and Writing Notebook&#8217;s are filled and many are running low on supplies ( pencils, pens , paper, glue, etc).
