They will also be writing a compare contrast essay based on rocks to support their studies in science.<\/p>\n<p>Important Dates<\/p>\n<p>Feb. 11 &amp; 12 \u00a0District Reading Assessment<\/p>\n<p>Feb. 14 Vocabulary Tracker \u00a0and Reading Log Due<\/p>\n<p>Note: Reading log will have 4 entries ( 3 about reading strategies used and one summarizing this weeks reading.<\/p>\n<p>Feb 15 &#8211; 23 Mid- Winter Break ( I hope it is beyond mid- winter) Over the break students may do an extra credit reading log and\/or vocabulary tracker.
