of a 4th Grade Donut"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>4th graders are busy working on paper mache donuts.\u00a0 We created an\u00a0<em>armature<\/em>, or the skeleton of a sculpture, using rolled up newspaper.\u00a0 Then layers of paper and paper mache paste were added to build up the donut.\u00a0 The last layer is construction paper.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not only easier than painting the donut, but it also adds another layer of strength and will contrast well with our glossy donut &#8220;frosting&#8221; later on.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_489\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-489\"
