Remember that we have our first Target Tuesday today so you will have shortened class periods, and you will go to lunch *after* FOURTH period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11\/19 Quick Write:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/kulfers\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3013\/2019\/11\/11.19-QW.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-698\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Today we are reviewing two of our new vocab words&#8211; &#8220;topography&#8221; and &#8220;vegetation&#8221;. Throughout class we are considering how these two geographic features effect the settlement of a civilization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See the attached slides: look at the picture of the Nile River Valley and consider our vocab words &#8220;topography&#8221; and &#8220;vegetation.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/kulfers\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3013\/2019\/11\/Vocab-words-describing-picture.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-699\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/kulfers\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3013\/2019\/11\/How-does-physical-features-effect-settlement.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-700\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After we have discussed how topography and vegetation might effect human settlement, we will create a map of Egypt. This map will focus on the geographic features we discussed.
