We are deliberating over the central question: <strong>How do Historians interpret the past? <\/strong><br>Essentially, we have a lot of ideas about what happened to people many thousands of years ago&#8230; but how do we know these things?  None of us were alive back then, and we can&#8217;t ask anyone who was there&#8230; they all have been dead for many, many years. So how do we know where modern humans and societies came from?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many theories and beliefs about modern humanity. You all are free to have your own beliefs&#8211; 1st amendment in action! For this class, we are going to focus on what the scientific community at large has hypothesized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To document and celebrate life is a common characteristic across the world, as well as throughout millenniums. We will start this Chapter by examining what ancient people have physically left behind&#8211; starting with their paintings!
