Hi y’all! We have a Class Hangout today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All classes will meet at the same time this week. This is to help gauge how many of you are interested in joining. If there are a lot of you, we will go back to meeting by class next week!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Class Hangout is\u00a0TODAY at 1:30-2pm.<\/strong> While I would love to see your faces, it is not required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are using iLearn and the Big Blue Button (BBB) to video conference. In case you have not used ilearn or BBB yet, here is step-by-step instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to https:\/\/moodle.dearbornschools.org\/login\/<\/a> and log in using your school ID and password<\/li>
  2. You will see a large box that says \u201cEnrollment Code\u201d. In this box you will put in the code rc8qnu<\/strong><\/li>
  3. Click \u201cEnroll\u201d<\/li>
  4. You will now be enrolled in \u201cUlfers Ancient World History\u201d. Open this class.<\/li>
  5. You will see three things:
    \u2013 a description of the difference between Office Hours and a Class Hangout
    \u2013 a link that says \u201cBBB Class Hangout (all classes)\u201d
    \u2013 a link that says \u201cUlfers Office Hours (meet one-on-one)\u201d.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    6. To join the Class Hangout, scroll to \u201cBBB Class Hangout (all classes)\u201d and underneath it click the blue \u201cb\u201d titled Class Hangout (all classes, not required)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. After you click it, you will see a button that says \u201cJoin Session\u201d. If I am already in the video chat, you will be able to click \u201cJoin Session\u201d and join the chat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I will be in the conference about 1:25 pm. If you have difficulties I will try my best to answer your emails, but once there are a few of you in the Hangout, I won’t be able to respond quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I also have Office Hours today! From 2-3:30 I am available by email, phone or video chat. If you want a one-on-one video chat, you will use BBB. You will go to \u201cUlfers Office Hours (meet one-on-one)\u201d on the iLearn class instead. You need to let me know you want to chat and we will coordinate a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
