HAPPY FRIDAY! Today is April 17th, 2020. Thank you for continuing to send your child’s work daily. I am looking forward to seeing them during today’s Google Hangout.

*Please note there are 2 pictures of writings attached today– one is the published informational writing, and one is a story about butterflies that is today’s reading assignment. Please make sure your child completes both :)*

Spelling Test:
Words: float, soak, show, snow, glow, carry, own, together, shall, above

Surprise Words:
road, boat, load, row, mow

Have a parent or sibling test you on your words! Take a picture and send it! I hope you get an A+! \ud83d\ude42

Writing
Publish your writing on a new sheet of paper. Make sure you draw a picture to match \ud83d\ude42 Take a picture and send it to me or have someone take a video of you reading it out loud! I posted a picture of Ms. Fargo’s finished writing as an example \ud83d\ude42

Make sure you have:
*nice handwriting
*capital letters at the beginning of your sentences
*finger spaces
*punctuation at the end of your sentences
*that your story makes sense!


Math
1. Lesson: Have students watch the video of me explaining the strategy and task! *This is EXTRA important today, this problem has a lot of steps!!*
