{"id":117,"date":"2019-11-08T16:21:32","date_gmt":"2019-11-08T21:21:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/krawcz\/?p=117"},"modified":"2019-11-08T16:21:32","modified_gmt":"2019-11-08T21:21:32","slug":"sound-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/krawcz\/2019\/11\/08\/sound-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Sound Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dear Parents,<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will begin working on our sound project in science.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the problem the students will be working on in regards to sound:\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u200b*\u200bWhat can you create that will help people who have lost their hearing?\u200b*\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u200b*\u200bHow can you use different materials to create a device to help people with hearing loss?\u200b*\u200b<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So I will need some donated supplies from you all. Please do not buy anything, since most of the items can be found at home. Some ideas are:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>empty boxes- different sizes<\/li><li>empty paper towel &nbsp;or toilet paper rings<\/li><li>string or yarn<\/li><li>tape<\/li><li>the inside of a wrapping paper roll<\/li><li>pipe cleaners<\/li><li>straws<\/li><li>plastic or paper cups in different sizes<\/li><li>\u200bempty WASHED OUT pop bottles or water bottles\u200b<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The students will be drawing out their designs first.
