I do not wish for them to receive this poor grade on their report card, so I will be reteaching this week, and will give a retake on Thursday. I do notice that most of the students that did poorly measured correctly, but did not read the question correctly. I also notice that many students who did poorly have flipped their card often for not listening and focusing during Math. The students are expected to do a lot of reading in these Math questions. They must know certain vocabulary in order to know if the question is addition or subtraction. Please review the sheet I sent home with addition\/subtraction vocabulary on it, and please review the copy of the test I will be sending home.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that Wednesday is our class party and parade. Please have children wear their costumes, and the parade will begin at 2:30. If you signed up to send in items for the party, please send them in by Wednesday.
