Welcome to my class!<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>Hello.\u00a0My name is Khadije Kourani. I graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2016\u00a0<\/span><\/span>with my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and Masters of Art in Teaching.\u00a0Along with this diploma, I received\u00a0a secondary teaching certification with endorsements in Mathematics and educational technology.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The road to becoming a teacher was a great experience for me. Although teaching was not my professional goal from the outset, I am glad that I made the switch toward this field. I believe that educators hold a very crucial role in society. They are the\u00a0expediters\u00a0of tomorrow\u2019s leaders.

\u00a0 \u00a0 As a mother, I have had the privilege of watching my kids advance through grade school. In these years, I noticed that a big part of their success was attributed to their teachers’ dedication. I was touched by this and soon realized that I too wanted to be able to motivate young students, and put them on the right path in their education. I believe that teachers should have the courage to make a difference. They have the potential to impact their community and positively influence the lives of their students. As a educator, I aspire to engage and challenge all my students both within and beyond the classroom so that they have the opportunity to grow and mature into leaders of education and reform.<\/span><\/div>\n
