It was so nice to see the sun and spend some time outside!  This year is flying by but we still have lots to accomplish and do here in our classroom.\u00a0 Please continue to practice the skills we work on at school when your child comes home.\u00a0 Keep building their independence to do things themselves.\u00a0 They have grown so much from the beginning of the year!\u00a0 Here\u2019s what we have going on this week.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">What We Are Learning\u2026<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Names-<\/span><br>We have taken the next step and begun writing our names. Please continue to practice recognizing the letters in your child\u2019s name and the order in which they go (Rajaa- R-a-j-a-a). Remember, only the first letter in their name is a capital, all the rest are lowercase (Rajaa).\u00a0 We have added learning our last names to the list as well.\u00a0 Please help your child learn their last name along with how to spell it and writing it.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Letters-<\/span><br>Our letter journey has come to an end.\u00a0 We will continue to review and practice the letters until the end of the year.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Please review letters- Ll- Larry Lion, Ff- Fifi Fish, Ee- Edna Elephant, Hh- Hattie Horse, Tt- Tiggy Tiger, Ii- Iggy Iguana, Uu- Umbie Umbrella, Cc- Callie Cat, Oo- Ozzie Octopus, Qq- Queenie Queen, Gg- Gertie Goose, Ss- Sammy Seal, Jj- Jumping Jill, Dd- Dudley Duck, Pp= Pippa Pig, Bb- Benny Bear, Rr- Reggie Rooster, Kk- Keely Kangaroo,&nbsp;Aa- Andy Apple,&nbsp;Vv- Vinny Volcano,&nbsp;Mm- Mimi Mouse,&nbsp;Nn- Nyle Noodle, Ww- Willy Worm, Xx- Mr. X-Ray, Yy- Yetta Yo-yo, Zz- Zelda Zebra<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Numbers-<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We are continuing our number journey! &nbsp; We are going to learn 1- 2 numbers a week, starting at 0 and going up to the number 20. Please work with your child on recognizing these numbers along with writing them. You can also have your child count out items for each number (quantity).<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4- four<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5- five<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Previously learned numbers-<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">0- zero<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1- on<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2- two<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3- three<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Reminders-\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">*\u00a0 Please dress your child for the weather.\u00a0 We are going outside when the weather permits.  Our weather is now up and down so please make sure your child is prepared for the varying temperatures. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">* No school on Thursday March 12th.  We have Parent\/ Teacher Conferences.  Please make sure that you arrive on time for your conference to be respectful of those that have their conference after you.
