Sorry for the late post. The homework tonight involved the students counting tens and ones. We have been learning that each number has a value depending on what “place” it is in. For example, the 5 in the number 57 has a value of 50 because it is in the tens place. I am going to send some plastic tens and ones home with some students. If your child brings these home, please let them practice using the tens and ones to represent numbers. <\/p>\n
