Hello Families! Just a quick reminder about our writing notebooks: Your child is responsible for writing the writing topic in his\/her notebook at the end of the day. We do this as a class and I explain what they should be writing about at home. Many students are doing a fabulous job of writing complete sentences and checking for capitals and periods. Some children are reporting that they either forgot or did not have time to write at home. Please remember that this assignment has many purposes, all of which will help your child become a more fluent reader, writer, and communicator. I encourage you to work with your child on this assignment and have discussions about the topic before they write. Thank you for your continued support.
