Spelling 12-4 to 12-8-17 Plant Terms

Spelling – Plant Terms

By lunch on Monday  – On lined paper, words are written once followed by each definition. Definitions must be related to plant terms.  ________

By lunch on Tuesday – Words neatly written and properly boxed for each letter using a straightedge.   ________

By lunch on Wednesday  – Choice Spelling

Thursday  by Lunch  – Words written three times using the write, cover, check and write a third time method.  ________

Due Friday upon arriving  – Pretest is to be completed at home. The pretest needs to be signed by who gives and checks it.  Any misspelled words need to be written 3 times.  _______

Families with Four Year Olds

Attention: Families with Preschool age children who are 4 years of age by December 1, 2017.  There is an immediate possibility of free full day preschool beginning in January 2018 in the Dearborn Public Schools (next month). The family must be eligible based on risk factors and not currently enrolled in a GSRP program.  If interested, families may pick up an application at the Cotter Early Childhood Center, 13020 Osborn or call Nadia Berry at 313-827-6150.

9:00 – Leave Howe to go to the Detroit Historical Museum

9:15 – Arrival – Detroit Historical Museum

10:00 – Historical Perspective Tour

11:30 – Eat lunch brought from home  and clean up.

12:00  -Walk to Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History

12:15 Arrival – Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History

12:30 – Scheduled Activities

2:00 – Depart from Museum to return to Howe

Chaperones and students need to bring a lunch from home.

Transportation will be by parent chaperones.
