My iblog will be active and I can answer any questions you may have! If you are working on something and need assistance, I can help via pictures and I can always help via email!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spelling test&nbsp;<\/strong>will be pushed back and will resume in April when we return. In the meantime, please continue working on weekly sight words. We have attached the sight word lists for Kindergarten that need to be mastered before the end of the year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spelling words<\/strong>&nbsp;week of March 16th<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>help<\/li><li>play<\/li><li>on<\/li><li>at<\/li><li>him<\/li><li>ten<\/li><li>men<\/li><li>den<\/li><li>hen<\/li><li>pen<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sight words<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>find<\/li><li>his<\/li><li>put<\/li><li>some<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>An easy way to practice these words is by writing out flash cards. We recommend you try the 6:4 method (6 words they know and 4 words they do not know) when reviewing. Practice the set of 10 words until they have mastered words and then bring in new words 4 new words and removed 4 they have mastered.&nbsp;<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1j9h4sggM2lMng7XX0zqNRt9VYBlbeqn7\/view?usp=sharing\">Alphabet Chart<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1UwFyu_VAlTsmsOmB_-rvthqFQzgdrSqP\/view?usp=sharing\">Sight Word Lists<\/a>&nbsp;** They need to know these by the end of kindergarten<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reading<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Please use Freckle.com to work with your child on maintaining and improving their reading and math skills. I will be monitoring the online programing from home, please email if you have any questions. Students should still be reading book bag books listen 20-30 minutes and 20-30 minutes on freckle.com<ul><li>You will need the your child&#8217;s name for the username for freckle, these are posted on individual teacher\u2019s blog but we have also listed them here:\u00a0<strong>Class Code:<\/strong>\u00a0kibil8<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>If you are not using online resources (freckle), we have attached comprehension pages for you to do with hard copy of books \u2013 1 per day (15 total).\u00a0There are word family books and other short stories on starfall and other sites listed in the online resources! Please practice writing daily! Focus on capitals, spacing, and letter formation and punctuation.
