This wednesday 5th grade will be heading to Orchestra hall in Detroit to see the Detroit symphony orchestra celebrate Beethoven&#8217;s birthday!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: What should I wear to the DSO? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: It is still winter, so dress warm, but wear something nice- There was a time that people dressed very fancy to come to a concert, but things are much more relaxed today. Just wear something clean, with no holes, that you feel comfy taking a picture in and you can&#8217;t go wrong- no tuxedos or ball gowns needed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: When do I clap?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: Wait until the conductor put down his baton, then clap away! If the music stops, but he is still holding the baton, it may just be a pause or a rest in the music, so make sure he has set the baton down on his stand or is holding the baton pointed down towards the floor before you clap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Do I need to pack a lunch?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: If you are usually a packer, yes, bring your lunch as usual. If you are not a packer, no, you do not need to bring a lunch.
