It was so nice to meet so many parents at conferences.\u00a0 I think it is always a wonderful opportunity to discuss your child’s progress to ensure that we are both on the same page. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Its only a two day school week… no school Wednesday, Thursday or Friday! Have fun.<\/p>\n

We are finishing up on our Gummy Bear Lab on Osmosis this week and will do Mitosis (cell division) when we get back from break.\u00a0 I am thinking a test November 29th or 30th, but lets see how Tuesday goes.\u00a0 We also started a new Chapter in Global Studies last week and will continue with that Monday.\u00a0 We will be looking at climate zones, latitude\/longitude, seasons, rotation & revolution of the Earth.<\/p>\n

I have been checking work over the weekend and I am still finding students are not putting their names on papers… its unacceptable… so as of last week students will lose 5% on their paper after they claim it from the “no name” bin.\u00a0 It is the first thing you should do.<\/p>\n

I am hoping I will have ALL C.E.R.’s checked and recorded before the break.\u00a0 A handful of students did not not turn this SUMMATIVE<\/strong> paper in.\u00a0 This is not good.\u00a0 As I mentioned in conferences summative grades need to be given the biggest attention and should NEVER not be done as well if your test grade happens to be lower than a 90% then you should always retake it.\u00a0 I am giving you a redo… take advantage of it.<\/p>\n

Be sure to clean out your lockers before the break.<\/p>\n
