Hi! I know everyone has A LOT of questions. I am willing to give ALL info I have. For the next three weeks we will be doing online learning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Writing: Everyday! I will try to send prompts for week days, but if for some reason I do not, please have your child write about their day, or write a story. Please make sure to have them use proper capitals and punctuation, as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reading: 20 minutes minimum a day. Please continue to write your monthly minutes down for march is reading month! I will also assign books and questions on RazKids. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spelling: We will review this week’s spelling next week and then do the next 2 weeks as new words. When we return we will take a spelling test of 30 words for all 3 weeks- it will not include cold words. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Math: Zearn! As of right now your child can finish Module 6 of zearn. I will let you know if they can move on to Module 7. Module 6 is arrays, similar groups, repeated addition number sentences, and multiplication to go with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Handwriting: Practicing neat handwriting and taking time to do so would be very beneficial right now. Some kids have been asking to learn cursive- this would be a great time to do so!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Social Studies & Science: Scholastic News! You may do any of the articles. If you have a printer, feel free to print the sheets that go with it. I will be posting a landform project for the students to complete with their families. I am going to try to link some mystery science lessons and videos, too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You need extra items to do? Give your child addition and subtraction facts that are timed. We give 1 minute for 44 questions, typically. Have them write a continuous story. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
