{"id":7871,"date":"2024-05-19T09:24:54","date_gmt":"2024-05-19T13:24:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/keebler\/?p=7871"},"modified":"2024-05-19T09:25:01","modified_gmt":"2024-05-19T13:25:01","slug":"this-weeks-news-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/keebler\/2024\/05\/19\/this-weeks-news-25\/","title":{"rendered":"This week&#8217;s news"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Alirida <\/strong>is Star of the Week<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kensington Field Trip &#8211; May 31st 9:00-4:00 &#8211;<\/strong> Please<strong> pack a lunch<\/strong> and wear your school t-shirt or red.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We only have 15 seats available\u00a0on the bus for parents on the\u00a0Kensington\u00a0Field\u00a0Trip\u00a0on\u00a0May 31st.\u00a0 We currently have 25 chaperones.\u00a0 If you prefer to drive or can carpool with another parent, please\u00a0let us know as\u00a0soon as possible.\u00a0  If we get enough volunteers to drive then it is all set.\u00a0 If not we may need to have a lottery to pick the parents on the bus. Also if you have students that you would prefer to chaperone please let me know.  We will be assigning chaperones to students soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Missing Assingments <\/strong>&#8211; The marking period is ending at the end of next week.  All missing work will be due by Wednesday 5\/29 so that I have time to grade and record all the work before the grading period ends.  I will give every child a new list of missing work next week.  This can also be seen on Parent Connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ELA <\/strong>&#8211; This week we are working on <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1mKjs8c4jALf2mOHmwP2agC8pIrYDVPFc\/view?usp=drive_link\">Unit 10 Week 2<\/a> &#8211; Spelling &#8211; Suffixes -ing, -ness, -ment, Grammar Irregular Verbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Math <\/strong>&#8211; This week will be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monday &#8211; Lesson 12<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuesday &#8211; Lesson 13<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wednesday &#8211; Lesson 14<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thursday &#8211; Lesson 15<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friday &#8211; Lesson 16<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next Tuesday will be the Topic C quiz<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Science <\/strong>&#8211; we are working on our last unit in Balancing forces<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alirida is Star of the Week Kensington Field Trip &#8211; May 31st 9:00-4:00 &#8211; Please pack a lunch and wear your school t-shirt or red.
