The class with the most participation gets a pizza party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Book Fair<\/strong> &#8211; Flyers were sent home last week for this week&#8217;s book fair.  Preview Day will be today, students will make a wish list, they will bring the wish list home to review.  Shopping day is tomorrow, when you send in money don&#8217;t forget the 6% tax.  Please place money in a plastic bag or envelope with your child&#8217;s name.  There is a separate donation envelope if you would like to donate books to the classroom.  Parents can come in on Tuesday from 2:25-4:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Field Trip <\/strong>&#8211; Kensington Nature Center and Farm &#8211; May 31st &#8211; We have planned an all day field trip to the Kensington Metro park in May.  The trip will cost $14. Permissions slips and money are due by Friday, March 22th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spring Break <\/strong>begins at the end of school on Friday 3\/22.  We return to school on Monday, April 1st. (No joke!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Black History and Alternative Energy Fair &#8211; Thursday, April 4th 4-5PM.<\/strong> Parents are invited to come see our students Lapbook created about famous black Americans.
