Kareem will be star of the week starting on February 20th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Valentine&#8217;s day<\/strong> &#8211; We will be celebrating Valentine&#8217;s day by sharing cards with each other.  If you would like to include a small piece of candy with each card that is fine.  We will be addressing our cards to each of our classmates and signing our name.  I will be sending a list of names on Class Dojo.  Please feel free to make a Valentine&#8217;s day mail box or bag at home to collect your Valentine&#8217;s day mail.  You can use a empty tissue box or shoe box.  Don&#8217;t forget to add your name so your friends can deliver your cards.  <strong>PLEASE NO candy for me!<\/strong>  I need to lose some weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dentist trip<\/strong> &#8211; We will be having an in school field trip to the Dental School over at the Michael Berry Center at 9 AM on Wednesday 2\/14.  The dental students have designed some games and activities to teach about oral hygiene.  Please arrive on time we will be walking over there right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Howe Character trait of the month<\/strong> &#8211; Hello Parents, Here at Howe, we are introducing monthly character traits to build a school-wide culture. This month we will be discussing Integrity. Integrity can be hard\u2026 Especially at school. Students nowadays have lots of pressure to perform perfectly on tests, not get in<br>trouble, and have lots of friends. But what happens when the truth comes into question and they have to make some hard decisions that feel uncomfortable? Although they\u2019re in elementary school we can be seen working on Integrity daily through the simplest things.  Here is our <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1Uqq5wlNZjTvjRJtCPF4Xl1Gj4GO1zLIg\/view?usp=sharing\">Parent Letter<\/a> about Integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Academics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Math<\/strong> &#8211; We took the Topic B quiz on Thursday and most did quite well.  We did Groundhog day math on Friday.
