I hope everyone had a wonderful, restful holiday break! Mine was a little stressful, because my mom fell on December 23rd and had to be in the hospital over Christmas. She is home recovering from her concussion and I have been helping her and my dad out as she recovers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Manessa is Star of the Week<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1\/2 Day Monday – <\/strong>We are returning on Monday, January 8th and this will be a half day, pick up at 12:05.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Monday is also Maize and Blue day<\/strong>, so wear your University of Michigan colors! Tuesday will be an early release as usual, pick up at 2:25. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Report cards – <\/strong>We are also starting a new marking period on Monday. You should be receiving report cards in the next week or so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n iReady testing <\/strong>will be begin when we return from break. I will let you know what the exact dates when I have more information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Character Trait<\/strong> of the Month for January is Optimism<\/p>\n\n\n\n Howe School Spelling Bee <\/strong>– The Howe School Spelling bee will be coming up soon. The spelling word list will be sent home this week to practice.
