Short Week<\/strong> – Next week is a short week with no school on Friday 5\/26 or Monday 5\/29 for Memorial Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NWEA testing –<\/strong> About 1\/2 the class finished their NWEA testing on Friday. We will continue to test on Monday. Please remind your students to try to do their very best. Make sure they are well rested and eat a good protein breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Montessori Night<\/strong> – You are all invited to come to our Montessori Night. You learn more about Montessori and see some of the activities we do. You will also have activities to do in gym, music and art. There will be refreshments in the cafeteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Please pick up your child by 3:55 pm still! Teachers need time to set up so we will let you in at 4:15pm from Door 18 (our office doors).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*You can mingle on the playground while you wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Please try and arrive early so that you have time to see everything you need to! (gym, art, and music will also be open)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Reminder if you have siblings you will need to space your time between all the rooms you need to visit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

*We can’t wait to see you Monday after school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Academics <\/strong>– <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ELA <\/strong>– We will be completing our Benchmark Unit 9 Week 3 brochure and Magazine. We will have our spelling test on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Math <\/strong>– We will finish lesson 3 in Topic A on Word problems and take the Topic A quiz. We will work on Lessons 4-6 in Topic B Attributes of polygons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Studies <\/strong>– we will continue our unit on Economics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June 13- Fifth Grade Promotion Ceremony 3:00-3:50 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
