Julia Star of the Week<\/strong>-She will be our line leader, bring a poster about her life, bring in a letter from her parents telling us what makes her special to them, a favorite book and sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading log for prize<\/strong>-March reading log need to come in each Monday with the number of minutes read each day and parent initials each day to get your super window for the cityscape and a super prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Native American Projects are due on Monday<\/strong>. Send in the posterboard and crafts\/house. We will start presenting to the class throughout the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Native American and Alternative Energy Fair – Thursday March 9th<\/strong> – 3:00-3:30 students ONLY grades PreK-5 will view projects. 3:30-4:00 PARENTS view projects. <\/strong> Please park and come in to see the fair. At 3:55 you may check out with me and help your student carry their project out. Please do not leave without checking with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1\/2 Day- March 17th<\/strong> – Professional Development<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Academics <\/strong>– Please remember plans can change due to scheduling isssues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Studies\/Science <\/strong>– We will have a history test on Monday.<\/strong> Students can study for their history test by playing the History Blooket Game.<\/a> Please use your real name when signing in so that I can track your progress. After we complete our History Unit we will begin a science unit on Weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ELA – <\/strong>We will continue our Benchmark Magazine Communities Then and Now with Week 2. We will be working on Homophones <\/a>for spelling words. We will be completing our Unit 7 Week 2 Pamphlet.<\/a> In grammar we will be talking about possessive nouns and punctuating dialog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Math <\/strong>– We have started Unit 5 – Fractions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday <\/strong>– Topic A Quiz – Lesson 5 Must dos 1 a-d, 2, 4<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday <\/strong>– Lesson 6 Must dos 1-2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday <\/strong>– Lesson 7 Must dos 2, 4, 10, 11<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday <\/strong>– Lesson 8 Must dos 1-3, 6<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday <\/strong>Lesson 9 Must dos  1(d)\u2013(f), 2(b)\u2013(c)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fasting Permission slip<\/strong>– Please complete the following form<\/a> if you would like your child to be able to fast during school hours during Ramadan. This will give us the information we need to provide alternative activities during lunchtime. Students will NOT <\/strong>be allowed to fast without parental permission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring Break<\/strong> – March 25-April 2 Enjoy your break<\/p>\n\n\n\n

End of Marking period –<\/strong> March 24 End of 3rd marking period – All work due by March 22nd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring Pictures<\/strong> will be Tuesday April 4th after break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No School – April 7th<\/strong> – Good Friday<\/p>\n\n\n\n
