Recorder Money – due tomorrow 11\/28<\/strong> – each student needs to purchase a recorder. They will all be playing them in the spring concert. They are $6. If you need financial assistance with the price contact Mrs. Reed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Howe School Spelling Bee <\/strong>– December 5th and 7th – 3rd Grade Spelling Bee Practice List<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hadi <\/strong>– Will continue to be Star of the Week<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Math <\/strong>– We will begin Unit 3 – Multiplication and Division with Units of 0, 1, 6\u20139, and Multiples of 10. This week should <\/strong>be: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday – Lesson 1 Must Do Problems: 1(b), 2, 3(a), 3(g)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday-Lesson 2 Learn Must Do Problems: 1\u20133<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday-Lesson 3 Must Do Problems: 1, 3 and Topic A quiz<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday-Lesson 4  – Must Do Problems: 1, 4\u20135<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday-Lesson 5 – Must Do Problems: 2, 4<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Science <\/strong>– We will we working on Life Cycles this week to transition into our Plants and Heredity unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social Studies – we will continue our Government unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ELA <\/strong>– We will continue Unit 3 Week 3 – Government for the People – spelling words <\/a>are closed syllable patterns. We will finish our Benchmark Magazine and Grammar and Spelling Pamphlet<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book Reveal and Gingerbread house making party<\/strong> – our books will arrive soon and I would like to get together to celebrate our accomplishment of being published authors. I also have a tradition of making Gingerbread houses with my class each year. We will do this as one party. Both parties will be on December 19th. At 2pm we will do Gingerbread houses and at 3:15 we will do the book reveal party.<\/strong> Here is the SignupGenius <\/a>to help with the supplies for the gingerbread houses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green Team Sale December 6th<\/strong>– The Green Teamers made spinning tops and baked goods that will be on sale after school on December 6th at 3:45-4:15. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
