Star of the Week – <\/strong>Zain is Star of the Week – Next week is Semaj<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Late Start Wednesday 12\/8<\/strong> – school starts one hour later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book Order due Tuesday –<\/strong> I have extended the book order deadline until Tuesday. You may also order online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Math Fact Practice<\/strong> – most students have been making great progress on their memorization of their math facts. Please help them practice each day. I notice a great improvement on the scores on their Unit math test. The fact fluency is making a big difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MobyMax<\/strong> – please remember to have your students practicing MobyMax for 15-20 minutes each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Field Trip to the Dearborn Smokehouse \u2013 Permission slips are going home tomorrow. Please sign and return ASAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, December 15th:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Color block Wednesday! Wear holiday colors!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make Gingerbread houses 2PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday December 16th:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Pajama Day<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday, December 17th:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Dress your best for the New Year and sing along!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Parents are invited to an outdoor sing along at 2 pm in the back parking lot. Make sure to bundle up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gingerbread house sign up information<\/strong> \u2013 I am so excited to bring back making Gingerbread houses to the 3rd grade. I have done this for almost every year of my 30 years of teaching and it is still so much fun!! Many supplies are needed to make gingerbread houses so I ask everyone to donate one thing. I will need 2 volunteers to help clean up and 2 to help set up. Each child can bring 1 adult to help them if the wish. Everyone must have completed an iChat form<\/a> in the office to participate. Please make sure this it done by 12\/8 so there is time to process it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
