I would like to see all parents for these conferences.  Please add your name to one of the 3 days on this <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1PATcLuHW5oDT_2MdSTsjQW1xobPkkM3NlqzvoDRHOvs\/edit?usp=sharing\">conference sign up sheet.  <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gym on Thursday<\/strong>s &#8211; be sure to wear gym shoes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Library checkout <\/strong>on <strong>Wednesday <\/strong>&#8211; please return books on <strong>Tuesdays<\/strong>, so they are ready to return on Wednesdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NWEA testin<\/strong>g &#8211; we will be doing our NWEA testing for Reading on Wednesday 9\/22 and math on Thursday 9\/23.  Please make sure your student has a good night&#8217;s rest and a healthy protein breakfast (no sugar at breakfast).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Star of the Week<\/strong> &#8211; This week we are beginning Star of the Week.  Each student will get a chance to be Stor of the Week, we will go in alphabetical order starting with Ali A.  Each student will make a poster board telling about their life and interests with pictures and words.  They will get to be line leader, bring in show and tell and have a few other special privileges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Academics<\/strong>&#8211; We have released all of our butterflies and toads.  The students really enjoyed watching the life cycle of both animals.  This was a wonderful segway to our animal unit that  starts next week in Language Arts and Science.  In math we will continue to study the properties of multiplication and division.
