Cereal Box cardboard needed –<\/strong> For our science lesson tomorrow, Wednesday August 29, we will need each student to bring in a piece of thin cardboard 3 inches wide and 6 inches tall. \u00a0This can be cut from a cereal box, a pasta box, or any other thin cardboard box.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fire Safety House – October 4th 12:30<\/strong> – The 3rd Grade will be going to the Fire Safety House to learn about fire safety.\u00a0 A permission slip will come out closer to the date.\u00a0 We will have a fire fighter come to our classroom on September 20th.<\/p>\n

Survey for French lessons –\u00a0<\/strong>I’m Mrs. Keebler’s daughter, Elizabeth, and I will be teaching French to all Montessori students at Howe this year.<\/p>\n

I will be using this information in a research project for the University of Michigan, where I will be studying the differences in the way that children learn new languages depending on what languages they already speak. Please submit a separate survey for each student.<\/div>\n
