{"id":4857,"date":"2018-01-04T04:22:25","date_gmt":"2018-01-04T09:22:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/keebler\/?p=4857"},"modified":"2018-01-04T04:22:25","modified_gmt":"2018-01-04T09:22:25","slug":"class-news-105","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/keebler\/2018\/01\/04\/class-news-105\/","title":{"rendered":"Class News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Happy New Year!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I hope everyone is having a wonderful restful break.\u00a0 I am doing well with recovery and I am in much less pain than before.\u00a0 I get more mobility each day.\u00a0 I am scheduled to return on 1\/12 after my post-operative doctors appointment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MAP Skills<\/strong> &#8211; It is very important that everyone is practicing their MAP skills every day.\u00a0 I&#8217;m pleased to see that several of you are working hard.\u00a0 I am working hard to keep up with assigning new missions.\u00a0 I assigned new missions today for everyone.\u00a0 Some students are not working at all.\u00a0 Please make sure that your child is spending a minimum of 20-30 minutes each day on their MAP skills.\u00a0 This is the best way to practice for and improve scores on our up coming NWEA testing when I return on the 12th.\u00a0 If you need help logging in please let me know.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reading Logs\/Projects this coming week<\/strong>&#8211; I would like to request that everyone please do a reading log for this week, since I will not be in school on Wednesday to see the projects.\u00a0 If you already started a project just save it for the next week.\u00a0 Please print the reading logs off the blog in the homework section.\u00a0 If for some reason you are unable to print please have your student write 5 entries on a piece of paper.\u00a0 Be sure to include the title of the book and the author.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Upcoming Dates to remember:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1\/8 &#8211; Return to school<\/p>\n<p>1\/8 &#8211; Adam is Star of the Week<\/p>\n<p>1\/11 &#8211; Magic of Science Assembly<\/p>\n<p>1\/12 &#8211; NWEA Testing<\/p>\n<p>1\/15 &#8211; No School &#8211; Martin Luther King Day<\/p>\n<p>1\/16-1\/19 NWEA Testing<\/p>\n<p>1\/17- Late Start<\/p>\n<p>1\/19- PTA Movie Night<\/p>\n<p>1\/22 &#8211; Issraa is Star of the Week<\/p>\n<p>1\/26-1\/2 day &#8211; End of Marking Period<\/p>\n<p>2\/19-2\/23 &#8211; No School Mid Winter Break<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy New Year!
