{"id":4143,"date":"2016-09-07T17:37:18","date_gmt":"2016-09-07T21:37:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/keebler\/?p=4143"},"modified":"2016-09-07T17:37:18","modified_gmt":"2016-09-07T21:37:18","slug":"roll-call","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/keebler\/2016\/09\/07\/roll-call\/","title":{"rendered":"Roll Call"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Roll Call<\/strong> &#8211; I would like to check and make sure all families are getting my blog.\u00a0 Please reply to this post with your child&#8217;s name and mom or dad, so I know who&#8217;s email is whose.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thin Cardboard needed<\/strong> &#8211; we will be needing thin cardboard like from an empty cereal box or tissue box for a science project.\u00a0 Each student should bring in one box.\u00a0 If you have extra please share.\u00a0 We will need this by next Friday 9\/16.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No School<\/strong> &#8211; Monday, September 12th there will be no school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2nd Grader Math<\/strong> &#8211; The 2nd Graders will be going to Ms. Truxall&#8217;s class for math.\u00a0 Math starts tomorrow 9\/8.\u00a0 I will be teaching all other subjects.\u00a0 Ms.\u00a0 Nellie&#8217;s husband will be helping us with Social Studies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Homework<\/strong> &#8211; Spelling words will be sent home on Fridays for a test the next Friday.\u00a0 Students should be studying their spelling words at home, practicing math facts addition and subtraction for 2nd grade and multiplication and division for 3rd grade.\u00a0 I will talk more about other homework later.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emergency cards<\/strong> &#8211; were sent home today.\u00a0 Please make sure they are all current and correct and return them by Friday 9\/9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parent Volunteers needed<\/strong>&#8211; A list of volunteers that are needed was sent home today.\u00a0 If you are able to volunteer please write your name, child&#8217;s name and when you are available, check off the things you can help with.\u00a0 Thanks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Star of the Week<\/strong> will be starting in the first full week of school.\u00a0 Please read all about it on the blog.\u00a0 Each child will have a turn to be the star.\u00a0 We go in number order so our 1st student will be Raseil.\u00a0 If you have any questions or can&#8217;t find the page on the blog please email me.\u00a0 I will be posting the dates on the Star of the Week page soon.\u00a0 It is subject to change so please keep watching for when your child week will be.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Roll Call &#8211; I would like to check and make sure all families are getting my blog.\u00a0 Please reply to this post with your child&#8217;s name and mom or dad, so I know who&#8217;s email is whose.
