Missing Towers<\/strong> – Someone put a note in my box this morning about a missing Tower and can it be made up.\u00a0 But there was no name.\u00a0\u00a0 Towers are a Montessori Word Study activity.\u00a0 There are a few posted on the blog that can be done at home and turned in.\u00a0 There is an SRA \/ Tower tab on the right near the bottom of the blog.\u00a0 The student should know what letter section they are working on.<\/p>\n

1\/2 day Friday<\/strong> – Dismissal at 11:45<\/p>\n

Missing Work<\/strong> – I have gotten a lot of missing work over the last couple of days.\u00a0 I will be putting in all the missing work tonight.\u00a0 Please check your parent connect later this evening or tomorrow. \u00a0 All work needs to be turned in by Friday morning at the very latest.\u00a0\u00a0 Any missing assignments will be changed to zeros in the grade book which will lower the students overall grade.<\/p>\n

Book Bag Volunteer needed<\/strong> – My previous Book Bag mom is no longer able to change out the book bags.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I need a new parent who can switch out the books each week.\u00a0 In the mean time until I find a new volunteer, students can use MyOn to read books at home.<\/p>\n

MyOn Reading Contest<\/strong> – We are having a MyOn Reading contest starting today until 11\/24.\u00a0 Each student has a goal of reading 20 books in the time period on MyOn.\u00a0 There will be a prize for the student who reads the most books.\u00a0 They must complete the quiz at the end of each book for it to count.\u00a0 I would prefer that they are reading and not listening to the book.\u00a0 There is a Shh! button at the bottom of the page to turn off the sound.<\/p>\n

MyOn Project<\/strong> – I have assigned a MyOn reading project called Earth Science.\u00a0\u00a0 The students can work on it at home or at school.\u00a0 It is due on 11\/20.\u00a0 The instructions are on MyOn.\u00a0 Let me know if you have any questions.<\/p>\n

Parent Teacher Conferences<\/strong> – I still have several parent who did not sign up for conferences.\u00a0 Please contact me asap to let me know what time will work for you on 11\/12, 11\/18, 11\/19.\u00a0 If I don’t here from those who didn’t sign up, I will assign you a time.\u00a0 I will be sending home conference time reminder slips soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
