Short week<\/strong> – We will be on break starting Wednesday 9\/23-9\/27<\/p>\n

Reading Logs –<\/strong> Reading logs were passed out today.\u00a0 Students can read any book they would like.\u00a0 They should read for 20 minutes each day as homework and fill out their log each day.\u00a0 They need to answer the questions on the back in complete sentences.<\/p>\n

Parent Connect<\/strong> – All parent should have their parent connect PIN now.\u00a0 If you did not get your letter please let me know.\u00a0 Please check parent connect once a week for your student’s progress.<\/p>\n

Parent Teacher Conferences<\/strong> – The conference sheets are on the classroom door please be sure to sign up for a time.<\/p>\n

No Spelling this week<\/strong> – I will pass out the new spelling tomorrow (Tues)\u00a0 nothing is due until the week we get back.<\/p>\n

Volunteers<\/strong> – Thank you for all the volunteers who signed up.\u00a0 I will be contacting you soon by email to talk about the specifics.<\/p>\n

Book Bags<\/strong> – We will be starting book bags after I have done reading assessments for all the students and know their current level.\u00a0\u00a0 I will then have a volunteer fill the bags and we will send them home.<\/p>\n

Volcano<\/strong> pictures<\/strong>– We had a wonderful time last week with the Montessori Great Lessons that ended in the explosion of the volcano!\u00a0 Ask your students about our volcano.\u00a0\u00a0 I will try post the pictures soon on : https:\/\/mrskeeblers2nd3rd201314.shutterfly.com\/pictures<\/a><\/p>\n

Star of the Week<\/strong> for the week of September 28th will be Zahraa Alsaghir.\u00a0\u00a0 Please make a poster of your child’s life and read the information on the blog about all the things you will do next week.\u00a0\u00a0 I will be making a list soon.\u00a0 We will go in number order for each week.\u00a0 I will try to make sure each student has a full week.<\/p>\n
