I was talking to one of the parents about things that you can do to be a Montessori home.<\/p>\n
Maria Montessori taught the child to be independent.\u00a0 Teach them how to do things for themselves instead of doing things for them.\u00a0 Give them chores to do to help around the house.\u00a0 Let them cook with you.\u00a0 Children of this age can prepare many food items for themselves.\u00a0 Put things on low shelves so your children can help themselves or get things on their own.<\/p>\n
