I am excited to be starting another year of teaching and I am looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting all my new students.\u00a0 I hope everyone had a wonderful, exciting and restful summer.\u00a0 I had a great trip to California.\u00a0 I am excited to hear about everyone’s adventures.<\/p>\n

I will meet the class outside by the back door.\u00a0 Teachers will be outside at 8:25 to greet the students and parents. \u00a0 Please arrive by 8:35.\u00a0 PARENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INSIDE. \u00a0 If you have school supplies please pack as much as your child can carry by themselves in a bag or back pack, if they can not carry everything send the rest in the next day.<\/p>\n

As you start preparing for the new school year, you can find the supply list here on my blog under class information.\u00a0 We have a larger class this year so several kids will need to share a locker.\u00a0 Please keep this in mind when getting a backpack.\u00a0\u00a0 PLEASE DO NOT get at back pack with wheels, they will not fit in the lockers.<\/p>\n

If your family is like mine your summer schedule is a lot different than your school year schedule.\u00a0 Vacations, staying up late and sleeping in all need to go on the back burner and start preparing for a new school year.\u00a0\u00a0 Wake the kids up a little earlier each day until you are waking up close to when they will be getting up for the school year.\u00a0 Remember school age children need 10-11 hours of sleep each night to be well rested for school.<\/p>\n

This blog will be my main form of communication this year.\u00a0 To save paper we are not sending home as many notes anymore.\u00a0 Please subscribe to the blog by putting your email in the subscription box on the home page, please check your email daily for messages and class updates.\u00a0 Please makes sure I have a current email.\u00a0 I will sent weekly updates and reminders of events and changes.<\/p>\n

I look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, 9\/8\/15 at from 8:35 – 11:45.\u00a0 We will bring the students back to the back door for pick up on the 1\/2 day and every day.<\/p>\n
