Book Fair is this week<\/strong> – Class will preview the Book Fair on Monday, the preview sheets will go home and you should attached the money in an envelope if you approve what they are interested and they will be shopping on Wednesday.\u00a0 The book fair is open 9-3 Monday – Wednesday and 3:30-4:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Inspector Iwwanano Assembly<\/strong> – Character Counts: Very entertaining assembly, shows pillars of character in a fun way for children to understand.<\/em>Respect, Trustworthiness, Care, Responsibility, Fairness, Good citizenship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NWEA Practice Link<\/strong> –\u00a0 The district has provided us with a link for the students to get more practice for the NWEA – MAP test.\u00a0\u00a0 We will be practicing in school, home practice would be very benefitial for raising your student’s scores.\u00a0 I have add the link to the link section of my blog.\u00a0 Here is the link: https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/nweapractice\/<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0Gleaner’s Assembly Thursday<\/strong>– To help us learn more about how Gleaners helps to nourish our communities by feeding hungry people.<\/p>\n

Balloon Rocket Cars – <\/strong>We have been studying Force and Motion with balloon rocket cars this week.\u00a0 We will be learning about building bridges also and we will have a bridge building contest soon.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cranbrook Visit<\/strong> – For our Force and Motion unit we will be going on a field trip to the Cranbrook Institue of Science on 3\/31.\u00a0 Permission slips will go home soon.\u00a0 This will be both Polster and Keebler’s classes.\u00a0 We will be taking a bus. Chaperones are needed.<\/p>\n

Study Island Contest<\/strong>– We are entering a Study Island Blue Ribbon Contest March 9th-15th.\u00a0 Students get a blue ribbon every time they get greater than 70% on a lesson.\u00a0 This is a national contests with prizes.<\/p>\n

March is reading Month Calendar of Events<\/strong>\u00a0 –\u00a0 There are lots of exciting events going on for March is Reading month.\u00a0 Here is the calendar of events.\u00a0 Please read it to see what is going on.\u00a0 March is Reading Month Calendar<\/a><\/p>\n

Readers NEEDED for Guest Reader Contest – Sign up for your time and come read<\/strong>.\u00a0 The class with the most guest readers wins.\u00a0 If you are willing to help us win our contest by reading to our class\u00a0 please sign up.\u00a0 Moms, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Friends anyone you can think of can be a guest reader.\u00a0 Pick your favorite book to share, please pick one that can be read in no more than 15-20 minutes.\u00a0\u00a0 The kids will love having there relative or friends read to the class!\u00a0 I would like to have readers on Monday, Wednesday or Friday mornings from 8:45-9:00 or Monday, Thursday, or Friday afternoons from 3:00-3:15.\u00a0 If those times don’t work for you we will try to work around your schedule.\u00a0 Please email me to let me know when you or a relative can\u00a0 come.\u00a0 We would love to get someone from every family!<\/p>\n
