NED is a loveable cartoon character whose name is an acronym for<\/span><span id=\"u10012-2\" class=\"body-copy-14pt-grey\"> Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best.<\/span><span class=\"body-copy-14pt-grey\"> Teachers love that NED is simple, relatable and kid-focused.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>Set 2 &#8211; I also have pictures of our Balloon Rocket presentation by Ford Engineer Mark Polster<\/div>\n<div>Set 3 &#8211; There are pictures of our disappearing penny experiment we did showing\u00a0refraction of light\u00a0when it hits water making the penny disappear and reappear.\u00a0 The kids loved wearing the science googles donated by the Busuioc family.<\/div>\n<p><strong>Study Island assignments<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 The two assignments for next week are: ELA Common Core -#1 Spelling Patterns, #2 Analyze writing strategies of introducing and closing topics.\u00a0 Students must get 80% to pass the test.\u00a0 If they practice this week they will easily pass the tests next week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling words<\/strong> &#8211; This week we are on week 20 &#8211; The Tic-tac-toe and Spelling sort went home on Friday.\u00a0 Here they are in case they didn&#8217;t make it\u00a0 home.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/keebler\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/210\/2015\/02\/Spelling-tic-tac-toe-Week-20.docx\">Spelling tic tac toe &#8211; Week 20<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/keebler\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/210\/2015\/02\/Week-20-spelling-sort.docx\">Week 20 spelling sort<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you for presents- Thank you for all the wonderful presents and cards that everyone gave me for Valentine&#8217;s day.\u00a0 I hope everyone has a wonderful, restful vacation.
