We are working on getting our book room and science materials organized and we could use some parent helpers.\u00a0 If you have some extra time and would be willing to help please let me know.\u00a0 There are some things that could be done at home but most of it needs to be done at school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3rd Grade Math Test<\/strong> &#8211; Everyone should have received their student&#8217;s Unit 4 math test.\u00a0 Please sign and return it so I know that you have seen it.\u00a0 There are a few students that will be doing a retake on this test on Monday, January 5th.\u00a0 This test is a test on their abilities to use their multiplication fact families.\u00a0 If they don&#8217;t know their multiplication facts yet this will be a difficult test for them.\u00a0 It is VERY important that your student memorize their facts.\u00a0 We work on these in school but it is necessary that they spent time on these at home in order for them to be memorized.\u00a0 The memorization of these facts is something that will benefit them for the rest of their schooling and the rest of their lives.\u00a0\u00a0 PLEASE take the time to help your child memorize their facts!\u00a0\u00a0 V-Math is a great tool to practice their facts in the game center.\u00a0 Or there are lots of games online to practice.\u00a0 Here are a couple:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.multiplication.com\/games\">https:\/\/www.multiplication.com\/games<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fun4thebrain.com\/multiplication\/deepdivemult.html\">https:\/\/www.fun4thebrain.com\/multiplication\/deepdivemult.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dates to Remember:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>January 5, 2015 Schools Reopen \u2013 End of Winter Recess<\/li>\n<li>January 9th \u2013 <strong>Medina<\/strong> takes Max home<\/li>\n<li>January 14 Late Start Day \u2013 All Students Start One Hour Later<\/li>\n<li>January 16<strong>&#8211;
