MAP Testing 3rd Grade –<\/strong> Tuesday will be our last day for 3rd grade MAP testing.\u00a0 2nd grade is already finished.<\/p>\n

Halloween Party<\/strong> – We will be having an all school Halloween Party on Friday, October 31 in the after noon.\u00a0 Students will bring their costumes in a bag.\u00a0 We will change in the afternoon right before the party.\u00a0 Please no masks or weapons!\u00a0 If you would like to send treats to share at the party please feel free.<\/p>\n

3rd Grade Math test –<\/strong> 3rd graders will have a test on Unit 2 next Monday 10\/27 – Study guide will go home on Thursday, here is a copy if you want to see it sooner. – Grade+3+PRE+Test+Unit+2<\/a><\/p>\n

Earth’s Water –<\/strong> we are starting to study Earth’s water.\u00a0 I have created a Quizlet to help everyone study.\u00a0 Since we are just starting this unit the terms have not all been presented yet.\u00a0\u00a0 If they play the games, do the flashcards and take a practice test they will soon know them all.\u00a0\u00a0 https:\/\/quizlet.com\/54284896\/flashcards<\/a><\/p>\n

Reading logs<\/strong> – Please read 15 minutes for 2nd grade and 20 minutes for 3rd grade<\/p>\n

Writing Journals<\/strong> – please write 5-10 minutes a day on a topic of your choice.<\/p>\n

Practice Math facts<\/strong> – 5-10 minutes everyday<\/p>\n

Penmanship<\/strong> – I sent home penmanship homework on Friday.\u00a0 Please make sure your student is working slowly and doing their best work.\u00a0 I will start sending penmanship homework more regularly.<\/p>\n
