Here is a document to help you find most of what you are looking for homework and missing work.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading Homework<\/strong> – each student should read 20 minutes each night. Complete your reading log each night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Narrative Reading Logs<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Informational reading logs<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spelling homework <\/strong>– Students should practice the spelling words each day. They will be tested on their words each Friday. Here is a link<\/a> to the words. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Math Homework –<\/strong> They will have math homework on most nights, Find the exact assignment in their planner. If they forgot to bring it home or you need a study guide they can be found on the Eureka math tab on my blog here is the link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addition\/Subtraction\/Multiplication\/Division fact practice<\/strong> – Fact fluency is an important part of student doing well in math. Students should practice their math facts each day. We will do a fact fluency test each Friday. Student need to have these memorized to 3rd grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfinished work<\/strong>– any work that is not finished in class should be completed at home.  Please check Parent Connec<\/a>t<\/a> to keep up with your student’s missing assignments. If this link doesn’t work use the tab on the right side of my blog. IMPORTANT – Please click the show all assignments box right about the assignments section of Parent Connect, otherwise it only shows a few assignments, not everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Homework time<\/strong> – Homework should not take more that 30-45 minutes of time. If your child is struggling to complete the work in this time period then let me know and they can complete few problems. I am always happy to work with you on the amount of homework. We can talk about what is most important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
